Daily Horse Racing - Wednesday's Racing
By Paddy Power October 15 2008
With some not to famous celebrities blowing out candles on their birthday cakes today, we'll venture off in another direction completely in our daily absolutely-nothing-to-do-with-horse racing section. If Halloween gives some men a comfortable freedom to dress up as women and look particularly scary, then the fifteenth of October allows people to be downright grumpy. Somewhere in the world, we think Canada, it's National Grouch Day, or as we prefer to call it Victor Meldrew Day. You can't moan about today's racing as there's competitive action from Uttoxeter, Lingfield, Punchestown and Whetherby in the afternoon and at Kempton in the evening. Don't forget, we also pay out on disqualified winners and official result on all UK & Ireland races.
