Considering that it was the Ferrari pit crew and, to a lesser extent, driver Felipe Massa who were to blame for the fuel hose fiasco in Singapore, the reaction of the team's president Luca di Montezemolo was more than surprising, it was Wenger-esque sour grapes. The angry Italian chief branded the first night race as a circus – but he didn't mention who the clowns were, something F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone was more than happy to do. While possibly standing beside two 6 foot blondes, he laughed, "If the Ferrari president is right about the Singapore Grand Prix being a circus, then we have to be grateful to him for providing the clowns." After the comedy of errors in Singapore, will Massa have the last laugh by winning the Japanese Grand Prix?
