Next Spurs Manager - No Magic Juande
By Paddy Power October 7 2008
Despite the overused analogy that Tottenham Hotspur is the Titanic after their worst start to a season since 1912, it's been widely reported that manager Juande Ramos won't jump ship, he'll have to be pushed. "Women and children first," the former Seville boss probably told chairman Daniel Levy who possibly responded, "Perhaps we should give David Bentley more time." Reluctance to sack Ramos may stem from the fact they'll have to pay a whopping compensation package after just one year of service. A source close to The Sun should have offered, "We've wasted enough money this summer." At evens to be the next manager to be sacked, who'll be the Juan to replace Ramos as the next permanent Spurs boss? Have your say - are Spurs doomed?
