Seeing managers getting sent off and having to watch from the stands is nothing new – particularly if you're an Everton fan – but non league rules meant that when it happened to Liam Daish against Altrincham on Saturday, he couldn't even take a seat in the stands, forcing him to leave the ground and watch proceedings through railings. "I was told I had to stay in the changing rooms. It was as if I had been locked up and couldn't move and I didn't like that," said the Ebbsfleet manager, "I actually went outside the ground, peered through some railings and only saw bits."
