Champions League Qualifiers - Shecond Chance!
By Paddy Power August 27 2008
He's given a whole new meaning to the phrase "going Dutch," but Steve McClaren is settling in nicely at his new club FC Twente. Although their loss to Arsenal in the Champions League 1st leg was disappointing, the former England boss and Wally with the Brolly was happy with his team's performance. In a pre-match interview with Dutch television, McClaren spoke in a strange foreign accent and said that "We are not just, what you call, underdogs, but massive underdogs." Continuing his policy of simple English, he said after the loss, "If you see how we conceded goals, Arsenal scored because our organisation at the free-kick was not okay - and not by playing good football." Will Arrshenal win the second leg too? Wed 8.05pm BBC3
