Wigan Athletic v Tottenham Hotspurs Preview

Latics need to make the most of the visit of Tottenham Hotspurs to alleviate the hot, uncomfortable feeling of sweaty breath down our necks. Charlton’s recent form and Sheffield United’s win against West Ham yesterday have put the pressure upon Paul Jewell’s men.

David Unsworth (groin)  Fitz Hall (knee) and Emmerson Boyce (rib) are all out, as is Antonio Valencia, who begins his three match ban for the sending off at Aston Villa.


The lovely Pascal Chimbonda is set to make his return to the JJB but Paul Stalteri is a doubt (hip) while midfielder Tom Huddlestone is out with a knee problem.
