Warrington Town AFC will next season be playing in the UniBond Northern League Division One North following a reshuffle of the leagues which was confirmed earlier today. The move will see Town play against the likes of Salford City, Skelmersdale United, Trafford and Chorley who are all based within a 20 mile radious of Cantilever Park.
It could be possible that Warrington Town could be playing at The Shay next season as Blue Square Conference National side Halifax Town are set to go into liquidation and already their are plans for the club to be reformed meaning it will be demoted two divisions into the UniBond Division One North. This fixture could provide a welcome boost to the clubs finances as they push for promotion to the Premier Division.
