Warrington Town continued their impressive form of late with a comfortable 2-0 away victory at Brigg Town. Town followed on from their 1-0 home victory over fellow Lincolnshire based Grantham Town last weekend to climb into 13th position in the table.

Warrington Town continued their impressive form of late with a comfortable 2-0 away victory at Brigg Town. Town followed on from their 1-0 home victory over fellow Lincolnshire based Grantham Town last weekend to climb into 13th position in the table.

Goals from Rendell (24), and Lamb (77) ensured all three points returned to Cantilever Park as the club look to end 2007/08 season with a flurry.

Elsewhere league Champions Retford could only manage a 1-1 draw away to Colwyn Bay, whilst second placed Cammell Laird edged out bottom club Spalding by 2-1. Sheffield beat Gresley by 2-0 to continue their push for promotion and Nantwich thumped Belper 4-1. Demoted Alsager lost 1-0 at home to Shepshed Dynamo and Grantham returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home defeat of Goole and finally Stocksbridge beat Kidsgrove by 1-0.

Next up for Warrington Town is a tasty home clash with Sheffield FC next Saturday 19th April 2008 with a 3pm Kick Off. Make sure you get down to Cantilever Park for the final Saturday home game of the season.
