Warrington Town AFC are already planning ahead for 2008/09 season without Argantinian Goal Keeper Diego Bassanini who is expected to be signed up by a Football League side, with Tranmere Rovers closely following his performances at Cantilever Park.


Warrington Town AFC are already planning ahead for 2008/09 season without Argantinian Goal Keeper Diego Bassanini who is expected to be signed up by a Football League side, with Tranmere Rovers closely following his performances at Cantilever Park.

Town are expected to sign an experienced Goal Keeper from an unamed UniBond Premier League side along with atleast 5 new signings to add more depth and quality into the squad.

Since Paul Moore took over the reigns as Manager of Warrington Town, there have been no less then 20 new signings who have graced the fields wearing the "Yellow and Blue". However it does looked to have worked out for Paul Moore who has seen his side claim 3 victories in the last 5 matches.

Next up for Warrington Town is a home clash with promotion chasing Grantham Town on Saturday 5th April with a 3pm Kick Off. Admission prices are as follows -
