Shadow Sports Minister Jeremy Hunt dropped into Cantilever Park this week to see for himelf the progress and plans Warrington Town AFC have following their ambition to reach the Football League within five years was announced earlier in the year.


On Tuesday 25th March, Shadow Minister for Sport Jeremy Hunt visited Warrington Town AFC to gather information with regards to the clubs ambitions to reach the Football League.

Dispite this season being a setback, it is hoped that the club can turn things around with the remaining fixtures and kick on in 2008/09.

Meanwhile, Warrington Town return to action this Saturday at home when promotion chasing Grantham Town visit Cantilever Park with a 3pm Kick Off. Come on down and support your town.
