Shepshed Dynamo defeat Warrington Town 3-1 to end winning run.

Warrington Town suffered their first defeat in 4 matches following a 3-1 home defeat to Shepshed Dynamoon saturday. Warrington went into the match on the back of 3 wins including 2 in the league which had seen Town pull away from the relegation zone.

Warrington took the lead on the 25th minute thanks to a goal from Towey. Dynamo hit back with 2 goals before half time one on 33 minutes and the other on 45 minutes, both scored by Thomas. Shepshed secured the win on 65 minutes from the penelty spot with Thomas securing his hat-trick.

Warrington Town will now turn there attentions to the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday night when Wirral based Cammell Laired visit Cantilever Park in the second round. The match kicks off at 7.45pm.

Next up for Warrington Town in the league is the away trip to Stocksbridge Park Steels next Saturday 11th November 2006, kick off 3pm. Town will be looking to complete the league double over the league leaders following the 3-1 home win over Steels earlier in the season.
