Reserves Take On Sunderland
By Mark Heys October 31 2005 Bolton reserves will be hoping to lift themselves off the bottom of the FA Premier Reserve league by defeating Sunderland at the County Ground tonight.
Jimmy Phillips side have picked up just four points all season, but they do have the advantage of having three games in hand on their nearest challengers Wigan Athletic after last week's game at Newcastle United was postponed due to bad weather.
Sunderland reserve boss Kevin Richardson names a youthful side for this game with only Dan Smith and ex-Leeds United youngster Martin Woods having made any appearances in the Mackems first team.
Bolton lost this corresponding fixture back in April as goals from Ivan Campo and Henrik Pedersen proved to be just mere consolations as the Black Cats ran out 4-2 winners.
