Gretski Tackles Benjani
The Icelandic international came closest to breaking the deadlock against the Citezens when his header came back off the post and the January signing from AZ Alkmaar says the chances created and a clean sheet are something to build on ahead of next Saturday's game at home to Arsenal.
"It was a difficult game but we got loads of chances like we have in other games. We got a clean sheet that is also really important." remarked the bubbly Scandinavian to the clubs official website
Steinsson says confidence is the key at this stage of the season and he has urged the supporters to keep with the team going into the final eight matches of the campaign.
"We have to stay confident and keep on going. We need the fans with us. They can help us and we need to keep on going. Every point is important, We feel that we are going to do it. It doesn't matter how but we are going to do it. I've seen the quality in training and I just know that we are going to do it."
Regarding his recent move to the club the 26-year old says that he just wanted to play for Bolton and does not regret his decision to swap the Dutch Eredivisie for the English Premier League.
"I have I knew (relegation) was a possibility when I joined because the Premier League is a very tough league, but I had been following the club for many years and I just wanted to play for Bolton."
