Hessey charged for biting!
By Chris April 21 2006
And his punishment by the FA, for biting at the leg of Stockport's Liam Dickinson in a 2-1 defeat in February, is a five-match ban starting next season
Hessey was also fined £700 for being found guilty of violent conduct. Although he denied the charge, Stockport manager Jim Gannon pursued the matter and now Hessey, who has become a constant figure in Mark Wright's defence, is anticipating missing the first 5 matches starting in the 2006/7 season.

Gannon said recently, "These things tend to drag on to the point where sometimes people forget about them but we will keep the pressure up to make sure this is dealt with in the correct manner."

The 27-year-old, whose recent good form has helped to stop Chester's alarming slide into the Nationwide Conference, has made 58 league and cup appearances since joining Chester from Blackpool in the summer of 2004.
