New Signings Unveiled With More Set To Follow
By James Truby
July 5 2005
West Ham boss Alan Pardew has boosted his ranks with the triple defensive signing of Paul Konchesky from Charlton and Cardiff duo Danny Gabbidon and James Collins.
A bid for striker Peter Crouch has also been tabled, although the £6 million offer was rejected by the Saints. However Pardew's intent on signing a big name frontman has not be put off as Hammered has learnt that the club have made an enquiry for Porto striker Benni McCarthy, although no formal offer has been made as yet.

We will keep you updated on any further developments as we get them.
