More of the Sunday rumours from today's newspapers. This week a shock swap deal is on the cards involving West Ham and their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. While Alan Pardew is interested in a player called Pele.

The People

The paper leads with a story that will see Marlon Harewood leave Upton Park in exchange for Spurs striker Robbie Keane.

They also say that Hammers boss Alan Pardew is also in negotiations to sign Pele that's the portuguese defender Pedro Pele who plays for OS Belenenses, apparently he is looking to bring the 25 year old to Upton Park on a three year deal for £1.7million. The paper say a deal could be finalised within a few days.

Also linked is Charlton's Jason Euell, with the story saying that Pardew will not pay the £2.8 Million transfer fee that Charlton are demanding.

Ex Hammer Don Hutchinson is also linked with a move to Plymouth Argyle.

The Sunday Mirror

Suggest that West Ham, Blackburn Rovers, and Portsmouth are keen to sign Lee clarke who has been released by Fulham.

They also say Sheffield United have placed a £4 million tag on Phil Jagielka with Birmingham city now interested.

Mirror jounalists also link us with Pedro Pele as per the Sunday People.

News of the world.

Reckon that Matt Holland is set for a return to West Ham with Charlton chief Alan Curbishley ready to listen to offers around £1million for the midfielder.

The Star.

Suggest that the Danny Gabbidon transfer is far from over and that Alan Pardew will raise his offer to tempt Cardiff City who need the cash to clear their debts. A story that the Hammered Editor tends to disagree with (I do hope I'm right)!
