Crouch bid and Konchesky deal close.

West Ham have reportedly tabled a £6 million bid for Southampton and England Striker Peter Crouch. Hammers boss Alan Pardew has been frustrated of late after seeing bids for Heidur Helguson and Mamadou Niang fall at the last hurdle.
Hammered has also understood that Paul Knonchesky is close to agreeing a deal to join the club after a difficult period at London rivals Charlton Athletic. If the deal is completed then Konchesky will renew is rivalry for the left back position with ex Addick Chris Powell.
