Second Cardiff Defender to join Hammers

James Collins will join Danny Gabbidon at West Ham after Cardiff City accepted an offer from the Irons. Collins will undergo a medical in a deal which make him the fourth Cardiff employee to join West Ham in the past few weeks.
Collins nearly joined earlier this year but an offer of £750,000 was turned down by the Bluebirds, however the cash strapped Welsh club have debts of £30 million and this time Pardew's advances could not be ignored.
Both Collins and Gabbidon are expected to be formally unveiled early next week.
