Hearts maintained their 100 percent record with a narrow 1-0 win at Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Rudi Skacel scored the only goal in the game and maintained his remarkable record of scoring in every game this season.

Rangers climbed up to third with a comfortable 3-0 win over high flying Kilmarnock at Ibrox.

Dado Prso broke the deadlock after just nine minutes when converting from the penalty spot.

Captain Barry Ferguson added a second on 67 minutes and an unfortunate own goal from Gordon Greer eight minutes from time sealed the win for Alex McLeish's men.

Dundee United piled the misery on bottom side Livingston with a 2-0 success at Tannadice.

David Fernandez fired United in front on 34 minutes and Peter Canero completed the win with the second goal 14 minutes from time to leave Livingston still looking for their first win of the season.

Dunfermline are still looking for their first home win of the season after going down 2-0 to Aberdeen.

Stevie Crawford came back to haunt his old club with the opener on 35 minutes with his first goal for Aberdeen.

Scott Severin made it 2-0 right on the stroke of half time to seal the win for The Dons.

Motherwell were the highest scorers of the day with a thumping 5-0 victory over newly promoted Falkirk at Fir Park.

Jim Hamilton opened the scoring  on 32 minutes and Richie Foran doubled the lead three minutes before the break.

Foran netted his second a minute after the restart to out Motherwell in firm control.

Shaun Fagan got in the act with the fourth on 58 minutes and Scott McDonald completed the trashing with the fifth on 65 minutes.
