The
Jug eared scouser Francis Jeffers has been deemed surplus to requirements by Alan Curbishley's high-flying Chalrton, and has been shipped of on loan to Rangers, where Jeffers will be hoping to jump start his previously promising career.

The move for Jeffers, more famous for getting into a girly slapping fight with Sander Westerveld in a Mersey derby than scoring many goals, would seem to end Rangers interest in Shaktar Donestk's wantaway striker Julias Agowaha or whatever he's called.

Franny started his career at Everton, before spectacularly failingto become Arcene Wengers "fox in the box" at Arsenal. A loan move back to Everton failed to work out forhim, andafter a promising start to his career at Charlton he has now found himslef no better off than he was before he left Everton.

He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of other failed English players who move to one of Scotlands big two clubs for the money, a 50/50 chance to win a trophy, and to play against rubbish defenders.
