Former fans' favourite and at least part cult hero Pedro Matias has earned himself a trial. He's been without a club since being released in the Summer, but has got a trial with Legue Two club Shrewsbury.

Former fans' favourite and at least part cult hero Pedro Matias has earned himself a trial. He's been without a club since being released in the Summer, but has got a trial with Legue Two club Shrewsbury.
More than one or two people were a little surprised when Walsall released Pedro Matias in the Summer.
The former Macclesfield and Tranmere player has always been a fans' favourite at the Saddlers and a few eyebrows had been raised when he went on loan to Blackpool last season. However, what was to prove his final season with the club had been wrecked by injury.
The news has been released today, however, that he has earned a trial with Shrewsbury Town and will be turning out for their reserves today. Let's all wish him luck.
