Yesterday, it was reported on this site along with many others that Ian Rush had left Chester City, along with assistant manager Mark Aizelwood. Today, we have learnt otherwise. Chester City chair person, Stephen Vaughen ahs stated that even though he would like to sack current boss, Ian Rush and his assistant, Mark Aizelwood, that Chester simply can't afford to do so.
Chester asked Rush and Aizelwood to resign, so they would get a pay-off, just not the full ammount that they would get if they were sacked. This is bad news for Chester and their fans, but surely if the boss knows he is not wanted, then he will leave.
