Good Luck to Lynch
By pnefans.co.uk
June 6 2005
After failing to make his mark at Northend Simon Lynch's two years at Deepdale come to an end...

Simon Lynch will leave Deepdale when his contract expires at the end of the month.

The 6ft Scottish striker has failed to make an impression since signing from Celtic back in January 2003 for £130,000. Appearing in 45 matches from which 12 were the starting 11, Lynch has been unable to find his form scoring just twice. His last apperance for Preston was back in November in the 1-1 draw against Millwall at Deepdale and his last goal was against Mansfield in this seasons League Cup.

Since his time time at Preston he has been loaned out to Stockport and most recently Blackpool on a 3 month spell were he made 9 apperances but couldn't find the net once.
