Penney Pleased
By Nick Raynor April 26 2005
Doncaster Manager Dave Penney felt that his side deserved their 2-0 victory over Hartlepool.

Doncaster kept alive their small hope of a playoff place thanks to second half goals from Ravenhill and Fortune-West.

Penney said:

"I felt we played quite well and deserved the win. It's just a pity the play-offs are out of reach.

"We haven't played at home for about three weeks so it was great to get back here and record a victory.

"We've looked a little jaded and sluggish in one or two games but we seemed refreshed and back to playing like we can."
