Doncaster vs. Colchester
By Nick Raynor
March 31 2005
9th placed Doncaster are hosting 14th placed Colchester this April Fools Day in a vital match if Rovers are to reach the playoffs.

Doncaster’s Jermaine McSporran will be missing for the rest of the season as he will be under going surgery on Monday after dislocating and possibly fracturing his knee. Results of his MRI scan are still unknown to the public.

Key player Tim Ryan will be absent as the full back picked up his 10th booking of the season against Bradford and starts a 2 match suspension against Colchester.

Defender Simon Marples remains on the long-term injury list as he recovers from surgery on a groin muscle last February.

Michael McIndoe seems to have overcome any differences with Manager Dave Penney and is expected to start.

In the meantime, Colchester’s new loan signing Ryan Jarvis is not expected to start but may appear on the bench.

Garcia (hip), Cade and Baldwin (both ankle) should travel with the squad after both recovering from their respective injuries.

Gavin Johnson however is unlikely to make the journey with a back injury.
