Andy began his career with York City where he was a trainee before signing professionally and making his debut in the 1995/1996 season.

His debut was actually against Manchester United in the 2nd leg League Cup match where York had won 3-0 in the first leg but lost 3-1 in the second leg but it was just enough to go through.

After 5 seasons with York Doncaster signed Warrington where he started every match for them in the 99/00 season but the following year in October, he broke his jaw and didn’t reclaim a regular starting place until the 02/03 season.

Warrington is now the No.1 goalkeeper at Doncaster and in Division 3 when Rovers won the title, Warrington kept a club record 19 clean sheets.
