Tranmere vs. Doncaster
By Nick Raynor
March 27 2005
10th placed Doncaster travel to 3rd placed Tranmere this weekend in the battle of the Rovers.

The good news for Doncaster is that Tranmere’s Gareth Roberts is away on international duty with Wales.

Whitmore may return from injury but Goodison, Jones and Beresford should all be missing.

In the meantime for Doncaster, Jermaine McSporran is likely to be ut for the season after a knee injury but results of the can have yet to be revealed.

Lewis Guy is set to start in place of him and Iain Turner may return in goal instead of Andy Warrington.

Also, rumours of a bust-up between McIndoe and Dave Penney have surfaced after the midfielder reportedly threw a strop at being left on the bench in the Bradford game but there has been no word from the club on this. We are yet to know whether Doncaster’s top scorer will start or not.
