Form Guide: Tranmere
By Nick Raynor

Here’s a look Tranmere’s form over the last 6 games ahead of Monday’s league clash with Doncaster.

Last 6 games: WDLWWD

Tranmere have been in decent for recently with 3 wins, 2 draws and only 1 loss in their last 6 games, but this may not be up to the standard of a club going for automatic promotion.

First came a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Huddersfield before a very disappointing 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth which Tranmere will have been hoping to take all 3 points from.

Then, against title contenders, Hull City they lost 3-1 which was a major blow in their bid for automatic promotion despite taking a 7th minute lead.

Tranmere got back on form with a 1-0 win away at Hartlepool followed by a 5-0 thrashing of Peterborough with 4 different people getting on the scoresheet.

Then, in an exciting, but frustrating match for Tranmere, they drew 2-2 with Chesterfield where they needed all 3 points. After making it 1-1 in the 72nd minute, Tranmere then got what they thought was a winner in the 86th minute courtesy of Dadi but it wasn’t to be as Chesterfield grabbed a last-minute equaliser.
