Form Guide: Chesterfield
By Nick Raynor

A look at Chesterfield’s form over the last 6 games ahead of Saturday’s league clash with Doncaster.

Last 6 games: DLLWDL

Chesterfield have had disappointing form in recent weeks, managing only 1 victory from 6 games and 5 points from a possible 18.

First was a 2-2 draw with Barnsley with Chesterfield scoring 2 in the second half after going 2-0 down.

Chesterfield then travelled to Walsall but were disappointed to be hammered 3-0 and the next game against Wrexham was no better, losing 4-2 to the league strugglers, JA Ugarte getting all 4 goals for the visitors.

In the next game against Bristol City, Chesterfield were 2-0 up after 14 minutes but allowed Bristol to equalise on the 70th minute. Luckily for Chesterfield, Hudson was there to score the winner, just minutes from time to give Chesterfield a long awaited win.

A lucky draw against title contenders, Hull City, after an 82nd minute own goal gave Chesterfield a share of the points.

And last week, Chesterfield lost 1-0 to Hartlepool after having Fowler sent off just after half time and the goal for ‘Pool following 10 minutes later.
