Doncaster 1 - 0 Hull
By Nick Raynor
February 11 2005
Sorry for the late report – It was my 16th birthday this weekend. Anyway, Doncaster entertained local rivals Hull this Saturday.

It was the first loss in 10 for Hull who will be bitterly disappointed to lose their unbeaten streak, and to Doncaster of all teams.

Hull made a promising start to the game but Doncaster were making better use of the ball and were unlucky to take the lead when Blundell set up Roberts, only for him to fire wide.

Just before the hour, Rovers took the deserved lead after good build up play by Chris Beech and Neil Roberts left Michael McIndoe with a chance which he hammered home.

It looked all over for Hull when skipper, Ian Ashbee was sent off for a second bookable offense but Stuart Green came close to equalising in stoppage time but agonisingly for Hull, he volleyed wide.

FINAL SCORE: 1-0
