Oldham were first beating 3-1 to Port Vale (who Doncaster beat last week) despite taking the lead.

Another defeat followed; this time Hartlepool the successors after 2 Boyd penalties within 15 minutes was enough to give Hartlepool a 2-1 win.

Oldham got back on track with a 2-1 victory over Peterborough and then a 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers.

Athletic proceeded to get another point against Colchester which saw 5 Oldham players see a yellow card.

But Oldham will be in very high spirits when they entertain Doncaster as last week they were the giant-killers, grabbing a 1-0 victory against Premiership side, Manchester City.
