Doncaster currently lie 14th in
the table with Walsall just 1 point behind them in 16th
so this is a vital match for Rovers.
Doncaster’s recent form is nothing to boast
about, earning only 6 points from six games whereas Walsall are doing very well with 10 points
from the last 6 games.
Doncaster will be looking to show
bouncebackability after losing to local rivals,
Hull City after an unlucky 2-1 defeat but
will be difficult away to a Walsall side high on confidence after a 3-1 thrashing of
Chesterfield on Tuesday.
Walsall are likely to be missing Ian Roper
and Matty Fryatt, both sustaining knee injuries.
Emblen is
expected to start despite a neck injury and Herivelto could make his first
start for Walsall in his second stint at the club.
Meanwhile,
Rovers will be missing McSporran after he was sent off for 2 bookable offences
against Hull on Wednesday.
Marples (groin)
is doubtful while Jackson (shin), Fortune-West (knee) and Priet
(foot) all continue to be sidelined.
