Swindon 1 – 1 Donny
By Nick Raynor
December 21 2004
Doncaster stay in 13th, 4 points off the play-offs after losing their lead against Swindon this afternoon.

Doncaster deserved all 3 points and could have had it wrapped up at Half-Time if it wasn’t for Evans pulling off some fantastic saves.

The pick of the first-half saves came when Evans saved Nick Fenton’s header one handed.

But Rovers struck just before Half-Time when on-form Gregg Blundell headed in a cross from Jamie Price.

That was cancelled out 18-minutes from time when Swindon scored a similar goal, this time David Duke assisting Parkin.

Dave Penney put McSporran and Doolan on to try and nick the winner but Swindon held on for their first point in 3 games which will disappoint Rovers as a win would have moved them to 10th.
