OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY 4TH JULY 2010

By John Christie
July 7 2011

Seems longer since we rallied in our thousands, at St Georges Hall, to rage at our deplorable owners.  A years a long time in football though and thankfully things appear to be on the up for The Reds.

Now we are in a much healthier place.  Sensible owners who are prepared to invest, the administration structure overhauled and for the first time the clubs name is being exploited as the world brand it is.  We also have an Academy that will once again produce good players. On the pitch we now follow the King who has totally reunited the club.

Anyone who questions the clubs transfer activity today just think where we were just twelve months ago, have patience and faith in John Henry and Kenny.

We’ve walked through a storm, kept our heads held high. Now we see a golden sky.
