Win a signed Peter Evo book My Youth - My Kop
By Waspy October 8 2008 Peter Etherington has kindly signed his book 'My Youth, My Kop' for us to give as a prize in our latest article comp. The book is a fantastic read and takes us through Peters (EVO) journey from youth to man following his beloved Reds. Anyone who has read any of Peters work in the past will know that it will be a damn good read written in a style that is totally and uniquely, brilliantly, EVO.
Mighty Reds article competition pt 2,
Here’s another chance to win a special piece of Liverpool memorabilia. The revenue earned, as with the first comp, will go to the HJC ( Hillsborough Justice Campaign) .
So please lets see some great articles written & sent to me ( Waspy ) by the deadline of 2nd November, roughly 3 weeks.
THE PRIZEA great Red whose followed us through thick & thin & wrote a series of books on his adventures supporting LFC, from the Kop & abroad. So on offer is one of his books called "MY Youth My Kop", & it’s also signed by the author, you have probably heard of, Peter Etherington, AKA Evo.
As Evo would say "Write on yer big Writers".
The title of the Article will be, as the title of the book is the Kop...
I've read the series of Peter Ethrington books and they are an excellent read. They give a great insight in to the life of a Liverpool fan through the early years of Shanks and Paisleys successs.
Evo's books are a damn good read, written in a down to earth typically Scouse way. I love all of Peters writing, I'm sure we have some of his net articles somewhere on this site.
His rallying call for the first Chelsea semi was a fantastic piece of writing and fired everyone up even more than they would have naturally been.
His Barcalona c**** one was really funny....

There's no way back Tom. No press release, no statement, no transfer coup, you could provide a birth certificate proving you're the illegitimate son of Bill Shankly and Billy Liddell's daughter and all it would do in Liverpool is confirm you're a ba*stard.
