Tom Hicks Still Committed To Liverpool
By Mighty Reds December 1 2007
Tom Hicks has moved to deny speculation that he is about to sell his shares in Liverpool Football Club, and he remains committed to the cause.. Rumours were reported in one of Fridays papers that the American tycoon was about to sell to the highest bidder but Mr Hicks has denied this and has no idea where the rumours came from.

Mr Hicks said:

"I just want to clear up with you that I am not selling any of my shares to anybody," said Hicks.

"I have no idea why anyone would think that. It was just rubbish."

And with reference to the recent row with Rafael Benitez Hicks said:

"The fans are very passionate and that's what we love about them," he continued.

"It's been a big misunderstanding blown very much out of proportion. George and I are happy to see that it has settled back down.

"We've a big game on Sunday against
Bolton, a big game against Marseille and a big game with our neighbours to the east and the main thing is the team is playing better."

Lets hope so, he's only been in the hotseat for 5 mins. If he was thinking of it or getting rid of our Rafa, I think maybe after a win with Porto he saw the comittement of our fans standing & backing Rafa 110%. And then doing a "woops better change me mind", act coz I might get hung drawn & quarterd...(Sm1)

Or like he said rumours getting blown up out of porportion. Anyways, hope all this settles down now & let us get on track
& winning some games.

The players need a happy club & manager, So our supporters have supported this club all there lives, so we know whats good for this club & Rafa's at the top of that list.

In Rafa we trust....

He has to be one of the Soap dodging Sheep from up North, great quote from his manager though.

Kevin Keegan (match of the day 22/03/08) "I didn't know how good Owen was when I had him with England"

Agree 100% with SK.

The poor deludeds have nothing whatsoever to offer any message boards, so pretending to be something else is all they can do. No guts, no sense, they're just the joke club of the Prem.
