By Mighty Reds October 16 2007 Javier Mascherano wants to stay at Anfield and hopes a permanent deal can be struck between the club and his owner.
Javier has been one of Liverpool’s best players since his 18 month loan move from West Ham in January of this year, and the fans have took him to their heart totally.
Javier says:
"I'm very happy here. I feel settled and would like to play at the new stadium, Right now we also have a fantastic chance of winning more trophies.
"I love playing for Liverpool and if the manager wants to keep me then I'd definitely stay for a long time. Liverpool are one of the world's biggest teams. They've got history, tradition, success and great fans.
"The new owners have come in, the manager bought some great players during the summer and a new stadium is on the way. So in the next four or five years I can see this club getting even bigger. The prospects are great."
