There is a station at the Bescot Stadium (on the opposite side of the road to the Away end) which is served by half hourly local trains from Birmingham New Street to Walsall.  Bescot Stadium station can also be served directly by trains from Stafford on match-days often meaning that just one change of train is needed (at Stafford) for fans travelling from Chester, Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street.

Rough Price Guide:

PLEASE NOTE THAT AS THIS GAME TAKES PLACE ON BOXING DAY, TRAIN SERVICES ARE VIRTUALLY NON-EXISTENT BETWEEN THE NORTH AND BIRMINGHAM SO THEREFORE OTHER METHODS OF GETTING TO THE GAME ARE ADVISED. HOWEVER A TRAIN SERVICE WILL BE RUNNING BETWEEN BIRMINGHAM NEW STREET AND BESCOT STADIUM ON THE DAY OF THE GAME.

Birmingham New Street to Bescot Stadium:

Journey time from Birmingham to Bescot Stadium is 20 minutes and trains usually run half-hourly although on Boxing Day it is likely that there will be changes to services.

Prices start from: Adults £2.40 and Under-16’s £1.20

At the Stadium

Car Parking:  There is a large Car Park at the Stadium which costs £3.00 to use and there is also a Car Park behind the Away Stand.  There is also some street parking available but the advice is not to park in the adjacent retail park car park as clamping is in operation on matchdays.

Where to Eat:  There are the usual catering facilities inside the Stadium but in addition there is a McDonalds restaurant situated on the neighbouring retail park. The Saddlers Club (behind the Away Stand) allows entry to visiting supporters and snacks can also be purchased here.  A small entry fee is usually charged.

Where to Drink:  The Saddlers Club (behind the Away End) allows entry to visiting fans, usually for a small fee and there is also the King George V Pub on Wallows Road.
