I am going on the coach provided it is still going! As of yesterday there were only 12 booked to go and after our latest performance I doubt there are any more takers! I shall be very interested to see our line up just to see what lessons we have learnt! A must win game against a side coming into form and who beat us 4-1 last season in a night match. Surely we cannot lose 3away matches on the trot!!

I would say we need to forget the diamond if it's not working Kirby, Jennings, Wallace and Mangan should be benched as they did nothing on Saturday and results have slipped since an unfit Wallace came in. I'd like to see the likes Harris Norwood, Maynard tolitt Dawson Mekki C.Jennings given a go as right from the off on Saturday we were too negative in midfield and had no width! Better once the subs were made we need to go from the off Lincoln play the same night too and we could end up 8 points off the top!

Another match I'm going to (they're like busses, you wait months to go to one, then 2 come along in a week).

I think, if we play with wingers, then we will win. That's actual wingers, not make shift ones.

I can see wholesale changes and a return to winning ways. 2-1. We'll score theirs too.

The major difference with Mickys first few games was the emergence of midfielders in the box and balls into it, for whatever reason were not getting players in their now. I'm going for no change in personnel and therefore no change in style and a 3-0 home win.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. If they don't score we can get the 3 points, if they do score the best we can hope for is a draw, if they score two it's goodnight Vienna.

Of course that's far to negative but my positivity levels are in dire need of replenishing. Personally I'd abandon what many were clambering for under Brabin and that's the two up front. Keep Cook up and bring Nors in to play from the right, I stress to play from the wing not on the wing. Tollitt on the left doing the same thing. I'm not good going to bore everyone with the rest but I'm just going off the debacle I watched on Saturday.

Steve Jennings out with a knee injury for this one.

Hopefully Harris will come in and fill the void? This is a forced change, but it could be just what we need.

Hopefully there will be more changes as Manganese should be the one coming off the bench not Norwood.

We need to win this one before the dream of automatic promotion becomes a pipe dream!

This was one of our better performances when we played them earlier in the season, 3-1 inc a missed pen.
The team that day:

1Davies
3Ridehalgh
5McNulty
4Jennings
6Ihiekwe
20Maynard
12Sutton
18TollittSubstituted for Duggan at 78'minutes
9CookSubstituted for Jones at 90'minutes
10Norwood
15AlmondSubstituted for Stephenson

Wouldn't complain too much if MM sent the same 11 out, though is Sutton still suspended?

I'm obviously praying for a win and given Woking's home record would expect at least a point, but a solid 1-0 win for us is my prediction.

The away seating end is fully covered but last year there was no segregation and I accidentally ended up in the Directors 'Box with Michael Ihiekwe and Marlon Jackson. When the Rovers fans started singing to Breadbin " You don't know what you're doing" I had to explain what the chant meant.

There is also a standing area which is also covered.

I wonder with all these Chinese corps buying into English boardrooms whether one will buy Woking?

They have the word Wok in their name, so this time next year the NL might have a team called Wok Ing.

Hopefully though when Tranmere play them, they won't get fried and the midfield will supply the forwards with quality prawn balls, because if the team lose again, Micky Mellon could look like a right prawn, so he'd better use his noodle to come up with a good team selection and setup, so the performance will be like shelling peas, or another defeat might have Mark Palios thinking good gravy, why didn't the team rice to the occasion and then he might get pie eyed, but in the post match interview if Tranmere lose again, Mellon won't be able to duck the issue, so losing would be chestnut worth the aggro.

So come on Micky when 3 points are up for grabs, let's have a pizza the action.

All joking aside though, I hope Mangan gets a chance to score, because so far one swallow does not a summer make and he's living on borrowed selections now surely and I wouldn't be surprised if Mickey is forced to ignore him for first team selection, if he fails to score at least once in his next 3 games.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Two thoughts while listening to the commentary
1) how great our away support is
2) our full backs get a lot of stick but maybe they are doing really well considering they do not have the support of wide midfielders that they would get with 442

Wirral radio described one end of the pitch being reasonably good and the other end being a ploughed field, we were attacking the ploughed field in the first half which may to some extent explain the two halves.
Great result though, and many of the changes that were called for on here were implemented, although Wallace started he came off for Harris in the second half. In fairness he did have a part in the first goal.

I was undecided whether to go tonight after Saturdays dismal display and the awful weather but being my 'local' game donned the waterproofs and waded out. So pleased I did, Superb result and every player put a shift in. Tollit in the second half was superb and Harris when he came on showed what we have been missing. Both full backs looked good against some quite speedy opposition and my faith has been restored. Finally, credit to the ref, best I've seen this season, let the game flow in preety grim conditions.

On way back from game.

A much BETTER performance.

We weathered the storm in the first half with some resilient defending and important interceptions by Davies. A gutsy defensive performance all around. McNulty was solid for most part and I prefer Ikiewe athleticism next to him.

Two full backs did their job. Still a bit vulnerable down Ridelagh side but in first half he was our key arttacking outlet with crosses into box, even if a lot of them failed to beat the first man.

Maynard was a good physical presence in midfield , Hughes played well. Wallace was a little off but made some good tackles before running out of steam and being replaced by Harris.

Man of the match was Tolitt. Woking couldn't handle his explosive pace and scored two good goals.

Cook always threat and was in right place at right time for goal.

Norwood ok but seems to have lost confidence. Was through on goal and decided to pass it? ?

Stockton looked good when he came on.

Overall we''re back in business. Let's get the form and spirit back and catch Lincoln

Well that was a game of 2 halves.....

First half, we had more of the 'play', but they created the better chances. Our game plan was to get it up to Ridehalgh, for him to cross it in. He must have put in 20 crosses. Unfortunately, that helped their game plan of release the speedy right back, who was a really good player. We got lucky a couple of times. Still fairly happy at half time, the first goal was going to be important. I distinctly remember saying how poor tollit had been........

Second half, Ridehalgh kept back, Maynard moved over to help stop their no.2, and we realeased the Tollit show. That's what he should be doing, head down and running. It was strange that for a left footed player, he was on the right wing, but that helped with his cutting in and shooting.

Slightly concerned that Wallace injured his right leg lunging in for a ball just before half time. But much better from him tonight. Still needs to work on his fitness, and tracking back, but the passing and vision was much better.

What's happened to Norwood, through on goal, just like Tollit, but on the other side, and he squared it?

Happy with everything else though, good to see Maynard back, he did well.

Just back. Not a lot in the game/no efforts on target other than the goals. But Tollitts goals worth the cost of admission alone. I think that was our best 11 last night although Harris may have complemented Hughes & Wallace better than Maynard. Enjoyed swapping ends at HT. Comfy padded seat in the first half; and right behind the goal celebrations in the second. Impossible to assess numbers with no segregation and SWA dotted round all parts of the ground

Got back at 2.15. Well worth the trip despite having to walk the last mile in pouring rain to the ground. Had 3-0 in the Prediction League so doubly pleased!

Tollitt was outstanding but we were perhaps lucky to be level at the break with McNulty not at his best although he improved in the second half. He seems to be the weak link at the moment and it will be interesting to see whether and where Barton will fit in.

Last night showed where we got it wrong in midfield on Saturday and proved Tollitt must not be left out again! Wallace showed his class for the first goal and Harris provided much needed energy when he came on, Jennings was not missed in midfield and Hughes had a much better game! Ridehalgh worries me defensively and he was skinned a couple of times to allow them to get decent crosses into the box and could easily have cost us!

Agree that Ridehaighs defensive frailties outweigh what he offers going forward.Wallace may have contributed a pass that led to a goal but it needs more than an occasional assist from midfield. Harris provides an energy that is otherwise missing.
Difficult to know whether Barton will add quality but he does offer options at FB
