Further reaction from Jay Harris after signing for Rovers yesterday........

After signing a one-year deal with Tranmere yesterday, midfielder Jay Harris spoke to the Tranmere Rovers Official Website to express his delight at joining the Club ahead of the 2015/16 season subject to a medical.

The 28 year old said in the interview..

"I'm made up to work with Gary Brabin and, with how big this club is, it's an honour really to sign and get it all sorted.  I've always wanted to play under Gary, he has tried to sign me for a few clubs and now I've got the chance to work with him and there's nothing better than it being at Tranmere Rovers and helping to get them back into the Football League under Gary, which hopefully we can do."

"I'm a Liverpool lad and there's three Merseyside clubs, Tranmere has always been a big club. I used to come over when I was younger on a Friday night for a little watch with my dad and the atmosphere was unreal, so hopefully we can get that this year."

Says he used to come over with his Dad when he "had nothing better to do" , what could be better to do on Friday night than watch the Superwhites?...
