In our Man of the Match vote from last Tuesday's 1-0 away defeat at Mansfield, Steven Jennings was the winner........

After four days of voting in the build up to yesterday's home game against Oxford United, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for last weeks midweek away trip to Mansfield Town, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was Captain Steven Jennings.

Despite the disappointing result on the night as Rovers lost 1-0 thanks to a late first half goal from the home side, Rovers dominated almost the whole game in possession but couldn't create or finish enough clear-cut chances to make their performance count - something which has been the story of the season for Rovers so far.

Jennings was key to this performance in the middle of the pitch and as you can see from the poll below which had a total of fifteen votes cast during the slightly shorter voting period this time around, Jennings polled 40% of the vote (6 votes) with defender Janoi Donacien in second place with 27% of the vote (4 votes).  Four other starters from the eleven polled 7% of the vote each (1 vote) - Fon Williams, Holmes, Power and Green.  Substitute Iain Hume also polled one vote to get the final 7% of the vote.

Right now you can vote for your Man of the Match from yesterday's 3-0 home defeat to Oxford United by clicking on THIS LINK.  The results of that poll will be announced sometime prior to the Plymouth away game next Saturday.
