Your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from Saturday afternoon's hard fought but ultimately disappointing 1-1 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon.......

After a hard fought and battling performance which ultimately ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

In the end many will feel that a draw was the very least that Rovers deserved and that in fact they deserved to win the game so despite the elation and relief of debutant loanee George Green's late equaliser, many fans will have left Prenton Park disappointed that Rovers hadn't taken all three points from this one.

Green George

Debutant Loan Player George Green scored a wonder goal and had a great debut

Tranmere fell behind in the first half and it came as no surprise to most fans that it was long-time Rovers nemesis Adebayo Akinfenwa who put the visitors into the lead after some poor defending.  The goal however was against the run of play and Rovers didn't let their heads drop as they continued to create a string of great chances, particularly in the second half.

In the end it was a moment of brilliance from the excellent Everton loan man that earned Rovers a vital point in a game they simply couldn't afford to lose down at the bottom of League Two.

The three who have voted for anybody else other than Green obviously weren't there or are just being daft.

It's a matter of opinion I suppose but Dugdale does always seem to get at least one vote!

Could be that the 1 vote minimum he always gets is down to him or Micky Adams (Sm6)

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

George Green - the best individual performance by any Rovers player for a long time. He was the best player on the park by far and his performance lifted the team.

Yes...George Green by a mile...this young man is going to be some player..another Messi maybe, who knows...best performance I've seen at Prenton Park this year. I would also like to mention our goalie Paul Brezovan..thought he was confident throughout, made some good saves, dealt with difficult crosses well and couldn't do much about their very lucky deflection for the goal.
