Tranmere of course host 100% record holders Morecambe on Saturday afternoon at Prenton Park with kick off at 3.00pm and will be looking to add their first home three point haul of the season after a draw and a defeat so far in the opening two home games of the season.
Think we need to show some balls this Saturday. Starting with RE making the team attack minded, two up front for once and hopefully Bruna/Baggie to run at them. then the players to come out and have the desire and passion to win. Morcambe are doing well but surely we can beat them, the home performance has to change sooner or later, why not tomorrow!!
Come on you Rovers xxxx
Iv been to optimistic already this season as the prediction league will tell you, however I'm going to carry on that trend an go for 2-1 to us with cole and Elliot scoring.
I think I am being a naive and underestimating the competition abit in this league, but if we can't beat the likes of these clubs at home even with them making a terrific start then we can expect a relegation battle.
Think we normally win when we're not expected to and beat the form team/ league leaders, hadn't Wycombe picked up maximum points before we beat them.
I'm stil going to optimistic at least for the next 3 games anyway, just hope the defence sorts itself out an we'l do ok!
2-1 Rovers for me. Nice visit to the cowshed today with the wife's family. My lads got his signed Morcambe shirt and his Rovers scarf ready as his cousin plays for morcambe. No split loyalties for me. Swa

A personal view
Should we fail to win this afternoon, and the gate fall below 4,000- then RE will be under severe pressure from the board I would imagine.
Note - I am not calling for his head - and I consider that both of the above need to happen - if gate holds up no questions will be asked for another week regardless of the result
I,ve noticed that league2 is much more physical and todays ref. let a lot go....Danny Holmes for example had no protection especially after Kevin Ellison had been wound up by the specs. in the paddock! Well done Danny for keeping cool despite being late tackled a number of times. Although Cole was MOM I thought Bell-Baggie had a cracker of a game...he had us on the edge of our seats most of the game.Keep it going boys.
Great result against a horrible horrible team. How they are anywhere near the top is totally baffling-they won't stay there long that's for sure. Time wasting ,niggling, moaning and long ball from the start, they must be dreadful to watch every week.Ellison was like a pantomime clown and certainly got our players and crowd going in the second half.
As for us,we created very little if anything first half even though we played what football there was. Totally different after the break. They missed a great chance a couple of minutes in,but after that we were definitely in charge.I wasn't happy about Richards being substituted but you have to give the manager credit for recognising that we needed somebody to roughen their centre backs up and give the keeper something to think about.Within seconds of Odejayi coming on,we had equalised[even though he wasn't involved in the move]. Then came the incident where Hughes stupidly got sent off-Odejayi obviously irritating him and Ellison.
The only question then was whether we could get the winner.Cole, who had one of his best games, provided that.
What happened by the Morecambe dugout after that goal I don't know, but the match was not able to restart until it was sorted.
I thought our best players were the two centre backs and Hill. Obviously Cole too although I suspect it should have been him marking their centre back when he scored from a free header.. Donacien was excellent.
All in all the win against the last 100% team in the football league is a massive fillip especially as we had to come from behind.
THIS is the match where our players really learnt what Division 2 football is all about. Let's hope the learning curve continues quickly.
RE - Why not start with 4-4-2 instead of waiting until we were 1-0 down?
That first half was dire.
Great to win in the last minute, but do not think we would have done but for the sending off.
Still frustrated by sterile formation at home and playing players, particularly Richards, out of position.
Hope ABB gets a good run in the team. Always looked a confidence player.
wouldn't say first half was dire we tried to play football from the back it just didn't work because they put 11 men behind the ball second half we knocked it long and played football in the final third i don't think morecambe deserved to go in with the lead at half time but that is football.
second half we got the ball into feet and we were value for money great match if the is one thing i have notice about this league is it is a very physical league
some of the pass and move in and around the penalty area in the last 20 minutes was brilliant stuff, most of it revolving around baggie playing off the front 2, maybe that`s something that could be looked at
pez Just read an alarming report via Newsnow about alleged Football Hooligans at Saturdays match.

Not good for the club if this is to be believed?
Hope they catch the ring leaders and ban them for life.
We don't need this sort of publicity, not good at all!
Sadly it is true. I always walk from Johnny King stand and go to visit my OAP mothers who lives in Parkhurst Rd directly opposite the back of Cowsheds exit gates.i could see Morcambe fans including young kids nervous about exiting as it was unusual for no coaches parked up adjacent outside .maybe fans travelled by train& cars?It was very nasty stuff albeit briefly as initially only 2 police officers for 2 different exit gates. There was taunting from both sides with a couple of Morcambe idiots from inside gates but police hopelessly outnumbered when they where charged by the scallies who came from the Paddock stand..I can concur that Any kids inside the Morcambbe section would have been distressed.

I think the article or a comment refers to the majority of fans being ok, no @#$%& Sherlock, 40 yobs out of a crowd of 4000, that's 1%.
As for the "flare up by the dugouts" just a suggestion but don't sit injured and non match day squad members of the away team in the home stand when there's acres of space in the away stand.
This was the 1st lg2 game I've been able to get to and it was a real welcome to lg2 game. An opposition team more interested in time wasting and winding fans and players up than playing football.
I think Ellison did a lot to incite the paddock, going over dying stoppages in play to milk the "banter" to then take a more central role when play resumed.
All in all a fair result in the end and hopefully a lesson learnt for the players
