Bury (A) Live Updates and Match Discussion

If you can't make Tranmere's game away at Bury in NPower League One on New Years Day, why not follow our live match updates right here and join in the banter right and with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......

Following football even at League One level is pretty expensive these days and no matter how much you love the Rovers, it will sometimes be difficult to make the games in person whether it be the lengthy away trips, or for exiles living elsewhere in the UK or abroad, the home games too.

As a result, for those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, we at Total Tranmere will not only be providing this match discussion thread for you to discuss developments with the game, but in a brand new feature we will also be providing a live updates service from the game which will include team line-ups, score updates and also pictures and snippets live from the game.

Stadium - Bury (Night)

Tranmere of course, travel to Bury in NPower League One on New Years Day so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on? You could use our live updates service to keep tabs on the action at the game whilst discussing all the talking points right here on our discussion thread. You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been to watch the game live.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use. To follow our live match updates, click on the link below and select the link for the Bury game from the list.

Brentford v Bournemouth plus a Swindon loss.

Listened to Kevin Blackwell on Radio Manchester on way back from the match and he reckons there was nothing between the two teams.

We didn't have to be at our best but I'd say we totally outplayed them. We outfought them in midfield and all the chances came our way. Robbo was a different class today and made the difference for us.

Also good to see we have a solid replacement in Daniels if Gibson doesn't come back. We look really solid at the back and we can defend 1-0 leads no problem whereas before we were leaking late goals.

Great start to 2013.

kevin blackwell can,t have been at the same match as me,as just been stated we really bossed the game and should have had at least 4goals after robbo,s poor penalty he was unplayable in the 2nd half and could have had a hattrick.thought we were solid throughout. everybody played their part also great turnout from the fans

Great result. Those sort of games are slippy fish waiting to happen, or as I recall Alan Hansen saying once, about a big side playing a cup match, I think it was against Hereford; a potential potato skin (Sm6).

In which case Sheffield United slipped on said potato skin at the weekend, but thankfully, Tranmere must have been playing Bury with extra sharp studs on their boots, to perforate any pesky potato skins (Sm100).

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

I'm really liking that Donervorn Daniels (DD or Big D). He's like our own Rio Ferdinand.
