Tranmere Rovers Trust

The Tranmere Rovers Trust (formerly known as the Tranmere and Wirral Football Supporters Trust) is a supporters group set up to assist the Club and supporters with projects and fundraising and has increasing numbers in its membership particularly following the Les Aid campaign at the end of the 2009/10 season which raised around £12,000 for Les Parry to bring in Andy Robinson for a short period at the end of that season.

Ahead of the start of the 2010/11 season, the Trust were instrumental in the push for greater season ticket sales by launching and promoting a season ticket reward scheme whereby all fans purchasing a season ticket received a free pack including a retro 1880’s Tranmere Maroon/Orange shirt and a scarf of the same colours and this proved to be a relative success.

Last season, the Trust mounted a campaign to complete a fan’s takeover of the Club and is also currently raising money to create a statue at Prenton Park in honour of Tranmere’s greatest ever Manager, Johnny King.

This page will be updated with any news from the Trust throughout the season, particularly in regard to the proposed Club takeover and the statue campaign.
