Rovers Face Pre-Season Trip to Moss Rose

League Two side Macclesfield Town have today that Tranmere will visit their Moss Rose Stadium for a pre-season friendly game in July to add to the four friendlies already confirmed for Rovers so far.

The number of confirmed pre-season games for Rovers has now reached five so far after League Two side Macclesfield Town confirmed today that Tranmere will visit their Moss Rose Stadium for a pre-season friendly game on Saturday 25th July with a 3.00pm kick-off.

The game against the Silkmen becomes the fifth pre-season match to be confirmed for Rovers so far although up to now none have been confirmed officially by Tranmere themselves.

In the past ten days we have announced that four other teams will host Rovers at home in pre-season as Cammell Laird, Southport and Welsh sides Holyhead Hotspur and Buckley Town welcome Rovers ahead of the new season.

So far Rovers' friendlies for 2009/10 pre-season are....

Fri 10th July - Holyhead Hotspur (A) Kick Off 7.00pm

Tues 14th July - Cammell Laird (A) Kick Off 7.00pm

Tues 21st July - Southport (A) Kick Off 7.45pm

Sat 25th July - Macclesfield Town (A) Kick Off 3.00pm

Weds 29th July - Buckley Town (A) Kick-Off 7.30pm

Games in Red: Likely Youth Team Friendlies

Games in Blue: Likely First Team Friendlies
