It doesn't seem like long ago that Total Tranmere were bringing you the a review of the previous edition of the Rovers Fanzine ‘Give Us An R' but once again Dave has been hard at work on another edition which is on sale now!
As well as the usual features, there have been some more new bits added this month to make it more interesting and there is even a new section written by Total Tranmere's Deadly Submarine which he will tell you is well worth a read but we will leave you to judge that for yourself.
Superwhite Army away trips covered in great detail in this issue include Stockport, Milton Keynes Dons and Accrington Stanley whilst there are the regular contributions from the ever-controversial Paddock Man and the opening piece by the Doctor.
In a follow up to the one in the last issue, there is yet another interview with a Rovers Fan, this time Tony Coombes is the victim who was chosen to face the grilling about all things Tranmere Rovers.
As well as Deadly Submarine's new section mentioned above, there is a second new addition this time around in the shape of a Crossword which is in addition to the usual Football Grounds Picture Quiz.
After the highly informative two-part Anglo-Italian Cup feature about Rover's 0-0 draw away to Reggiana recently, this issue contains the first part of Rovers second and only other Italian jaunt when they travelled to face Pisa in the same competition.
The first part looks at the pre-match build up and how Rovers fans spent the morning and afternoon in Pisa and Florence before the evening kick-off in Pisa later that day and is well worth a read.
There is also a little snippet about the fashion sense (or lack of) of our very own Bas Savage and a piece on the recent horror injury to Iain Hume and other poor behaviour recently in the football world.
At just £2.00, ‘Give Us An R' is a worthwhile purchase for any avid Rovers' Fan so if you have perhaps thought about buying it before but never got round to it, why not make this issue your first one?
We can highly recommend it as a publication written by fans for fans and with no connection in its content to the Club itself, giving views that you may not otherwise see in a matchday programme.
It can be bought at all Rovers home matches from Dave who positions himself on the left hand side of the road entrance to the Main Car Park at Prenton Park on the bit of waste ground on the opposite side of the entrance to the Mersey Clipper Pub (Dave is usually standing just under the Board which shows the next few matches that are due to be played at Prenton Park).
Dave is also at almost all Rovers away matches during the season, standing somewhere near the away turnstiles selling the Fanzine so there is plenty of chances to pick up your copy - you won't regret it in our opinion.
