Ahead of Tuesday night's home tie against Scunthorpe United in League One, Ronnie Moore insisted that Saturday's dismal defeat to Yeovil Town will be quickly put behind his side as they look to close the gap to the top few teams.
Moore told Tranmere World............
"It wasn't the result or performance we wanted at Yeovil, but when you've got four missing and at least another two playing with flu it makes it that bit more difficult."
"But there still should have been enough in that team to take something out of the game. We have to move on, we can't do anything about it. We need to close the gap as quickly as possible and we've got three great games coming up now."

"We've got Scunny, Peterborough in the FA Cup and then Leeds at home. Eight points in this league is nothing. We're well capable of closing it and all the teams have got to play each other."
"We've got two returning from suspension which makes us a lot stronger. We're playing a side who are very difficult to beat. They all know what they're doing and they're a very regimented side. We have to move the ball quickly and get it into the box."
Moore also revealed all the players was back in training, including those who suffered from flu late last week.
