Ronnie Moore will barely have to do any picking of the team for Rovers match away ay Yeovil Town on Saturday as the squad is struck by suspension, injury and illness.
Ryan Shotton, Steven Jennings and Antony Kay are all suspended whilst Ian Goodison is in Jamaica following international duty and George O'Callaghan is also unavailable.
Craig Curran remain sidelined with a stomach injury whilst Ben Chorley, Edrissa Sonko, Ian Moore and Gareth Edds all missed training on Thursday with flu and must remain doubts for the game.
Moore can call on new loan signing Mark Wilson from Doncaster Rovers who signed for a month earlier today but the gaffer was clearly prepared to suffer a number of absentees.
Moore told Tranmere World earlier today.....
"There's a little bit of flu going round the camp today and there's four lads missing training today. They don't sound too good, that's for sure. It leaves us a bit bare at the moment and we won't know anything more until tomorrow."
"It will be interesting to see what the roll call is like tomorrow morning before we travel. It has been difficult training-wise as there has only been a dozen or so able to train."

"It will be an opportunity for one or two youngsters. You want to be going with your strongest side but that's not to be. But it's an opportunity for other players to go out and play."
"I won't know until you throw them in. Some sink and some swim. We have to hope that if we throw four of them in at least three of them swim."
"I watched them (Yeovil) in midweek at Stockport. They had a penalty after three minutes and the keeper saved it, and they'd already hit the post, so they could have been two up."
"They then conceded a goal, had a lad sent off and conceded again direct from the free kick so I wouldn't take too much out of that performance. Yeovil at home are always tough opponents."
