Former Tranmere favorite Ryan Taylor was last week linked with a loan move to Derby County after Steve Bruce cleared the way for him to do so and rumours were also flying around that QPR were set to bid around 750k for his services in January.
Just a week later though, shortly after scoring a screamer against Newcastle United last Saturday afternoon, the Sun newspaper are claiming that the former Tranmere star is being tracked by Merseyside neighbours Everton and arch rivals Bolton.
Taylor has made 46 appearances for Wigan scoring five times, with four of those goals coming against Newcastle. However since moving to the Latics from Rovers most of his time has been spent off the pitch due to injuries.

In late 2007 Taylor came back into the Wigan first team and performed excellently, leading new Manager Steve Bruce to hail him as the new David Beckham.
During his time at Rovers, Taylor made 98 appearances for the Whites scoring 14 times, an impressive tally for a right back.
Meanwhile former Tranmere loanee Alex Bruce has also been making the headlines lately as Italian Giants Fiorentina are tracking the Irish International but are also facing competition from Genoa and Napoli.
Ex-Rovers striker Iain Hume returned home from hospital this week after his injury in a recent game for Barnsley against Sheffield United which left him with a fractured skull.
Total Tranmere wish Iain all the best for his recovery.
